The Illinois Entrepreneurship Center provides guidance to aspiring entrepreneurs. The Central Illinois Procurement Technical Assistance Center is available to assist small businesses throughout Illinois with the process of securing government contracts.
The City of Hoopeston has received assistance from the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs through the two Rural Community Development Assistance Grants and through the MAPPING the Future of Your Community program. The Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs provides Rural Research reports on issues facing rural Illinois communities, community data, and technical assistance to the City of Hoopeston and is a great resource to the existing and future businesses.
