The City of Hoopeston has developed a Safe Routes to School Plan as part of the State of Illinois Safe Routes to School Program to ensure a safe travel environment for students.

Through a community-wide visioning process, community residents have created a Community Action Plan that outlines high priority goal areas for the City.
