Committee Members

The City of Hoopeston has recently formed an economic development steering committee, comprised of representatives from the Hoopeston Chamber of Commerce and the Hoopeston City Council. The committee’s purpose is to focus on economic growth for the city. Recognizing that rural economies are changing from a manufacturing base to a service and idea base, the City has formed the economic development committee as a means of being proactive in growing and developing new businesses in the City.
