LSTA Grant
The Hoopeston Public Library is one of 11 rural communities selected as
partners for the the Western Illinois University Program, "Expanding
the Entrepreneurial Role for Rural Libraries." WIU libraries, in
cooperation with the Illinois Institute for Rural Affairs, Alliance
Library System and Western Illinois Entrepreneurial Center, recently
received a Library Services and Technology Act grant project funded
through the Illinois Office of the Secretary of State to administer the
economic stimulus program.
