Infrastructure

The Hoopeston Infrastructure committee has identified "Hoopeston has modern infrastructure" as a high priority outcome. To reach this goal the committee is working with the City water department to conduct repairs of the water storage tanks and to correct the drainage problems in the City.

The committee is currently investigating grant possibilities to alleviate the City's drainage problems. The committee is investigating solutions to potential flooding problems through the process of reviewing previous engineering studies and through analysis of the areas in the community that receive heavy flooding.
