Community Committees

The City of Hoopeston has formed several committees to help with the process of community and economic development in the City. These committees include the Housing Taskforce, Business Retention and Expansion, Infrastructure, Mayor's Youth Council, Unmet Needs, and the Hoopeston Mainstreet Program. If you are interested in participating in any one of these committees or would like help finding a different community organization, please contact the Economic Development Office at (217) 283-7873.
